Every LEGO Batman set retiring in 2024 and beyond – May update
Eight of the 12 current (or upcoming) LEGO Batman sets are currently slated to retire by the end of the year, including one that hasn’t even hit shelves yet.
The LEGO Group has turned to the wider Bat-canon to keep its DC theme chugging along for another year, and in doing so has pulled some pretty cool sets out of its hat. Top of that list for 2024 is 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City, which landed on shelves in April and will be followed by four more sets on June 1, including 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze.
At the time of writing, both of those sets will be available into 2025 – but 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker, which is also debuting in June, is scheduled to retire before the year’s out. If you’ve got your eye on that 4+ set, even if only for its minifigures, you’ll want to bump it up your priority list when it lands next month.
Seven other LEGO Batman sets are also destined to retire in 2024 as things stand. Those include the enormous 76240 Batmobile Tumbler and 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box, the latter of which only dropped in 2023, and last summer’s minifigure-scale Batmobile and Batwing.
