LEGO Bits N’ Bricks gaming podcast returns for May the Fourth Star Wars special

The LEGO Gaming Bits N’ Bricks podcast has returned with a special Star Wars episode to celebrate May the Fourth.

The first season of the officially-sanctioned series came to a close last month, but the team confirmed at the time that it would be back for more – potentially covering topics including BIONICLE and Rock Raiders. And while Bits N’ Bricks’ second season hasn’t quite kicked off yet, hosts Brian Crecente and Ethan Vincent have come through with a very well-timed special for unofficial Star Wars Day.

To mark all things May the Fourth in 2021, the podcast’s presenters have chatted with Lucasfilm Games’ Director of Brand Marketing Matt Shell and Executive Producer Matt Fillbrandt to get the skinny on how they allowed TT Games to get creative with a galaxy far, far away – while still retaining the sanctity of the Star Wars universe.

You can listen to the episode in full by hitting play on the video above, or seeking it out through your preferred podcasting service. The entire first season of Bits N’ Bricks is also available to stream through the LEGO Gaming YouTube channel.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
