LEGO Botanical Collection 2023 range treated to designer videos

New designer videos for the 2023 LEGO Botanical Collection sets have appeared, offering insight into 10313 Wildflower Bouquet and 10314 Dried Flower Centrepiece.

Available now on the LEGO Group’s YouTube channel, the only video labelled as a designer video is that for 10314 Dried Flower Centrepiece. This new build is on the official online store now for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99 and designer Chris McVeigh guides us through the natural model.

“One of the fun things I was able to do with this set was include a lot of vintage botanical elements in it, including the small tree which is from 1986 and the palm leaf from 1999,” explained Chris. “The palm leaf existed in olive green, but I have recoloured the small tree to olive green for the first time.”

As well as the designer video, a flower-arranging guide has also been released, focusing on 10313 Wildflower bouquet and acting as a second designer video.

Milan Madge and Annemette Baaskjær talk about the choice of the flowers featured in 10313 Wildflower Bouquet. The video also acts as a guide to the various species included in the set, something that is not available outside a list in the official description of the model. However, the accompanying graphics act as an educational tour of 10313 Wildflower Bouquet.
