LEGO Botanicals announces upcoming global Valentine’s tour
LEGO Botanicals is hitting the road this month, visiting locations around the globe as part of a Valentine’s tour to ‘rebuild wilted connections.’
A recent study by the LEGO Group has revealed that increased online connectivity may well be driving human beings further apart. Data from the report states that 40% of people now interact more with others through their devices than in the physical world, something that LEGO Botanicals is hoping to address.
The theme is heading out on the road this month, with Le Florist Flower Truck making a whistlestop tour of the globe ahead of Valentine’s Day to champion the joy of play and celebrate all forms of love. Described as ‘a blooming florist shop on wheels,’ the truck will kick off its world tour in New York from January 31 to February 2, culminating in a short appearance in Amsterdam from May 10 to May 11.
Visitors to Le Florist Flower Truck can dive into a wide range of LEGO Botanicals sets that will be on display, join in with free workshops to create their own personalised brick-built stems, take selfies and more. In addition, a free eight-minute LEGO Botanicals workshop, led by celebrity florist and artistic director, Jeff Leatham, will be available online from February 9. Viewers will be able to watch and build along with Jeff as he creates three stunning LEGO Botanicals arrangements, with the full event available to watch here next month.
