LEGO Braille Bricks land on Pick a Brick

Some unique LEGO elements have just arrived on Pick a Brick, offering a potentially easy expansion to a useful and exclusive model.

Three unusual parts are available now on the LEGO Group’s online Pick a Brick service and their name suggests that can only be from a handful of sets. Brick 2×4, Braille numbers 116, 134 and 143 have just been added to the service.

Given their names, it would appear that these are three of the unique parts from either 40655 Play with Braille – French, 40656 Play with Braille – English40722 Play with Braille – German Alphabet40723 Play with Braille – Italian Alphabet or 40724 Play with Braille – Spanish Alphabet.

For many enthusiasts, this won’t be the most exciting addition to Pick a Brick, these potential Braille Bricks could be an inexpensive expansion to the existing sets for those that would benefit most from the program.

Otherwise, 40655 Play with Braille – French, 40656 Play with Braille – English40722 Play with Braille – German Alphabet40723 Play with Braille – Italian Alphabet or 40724 Play with Braille – Spanish Alphabet cost £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99 in their respective regions.

Unfortunately, no images have been attached to the listings at the time of writing and there’s no way of knowing what language they could be. The benefit to this is that it shows that more Braille Bricks can make their way to Pick a Brick in the future, hopefully with images.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
