LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 crowd support starts

Over 300 fan-designed models are officially in contention for a future LEGO BrickLink Designer Program set as crowd support for Series 7 starts.

376 submissions and their fan designers are all hoping for a shot at the next LEGO BrickLink Designer Program set as the crowd support phase for Series 7 has officially opened.

Using the emoji-based voting system, users can now show their support for the vast number of fan-designed builds, which will have an impact on which five designs are selected for the upcoming crowdfunding stage and become future sets. For instance, Adventure in Transylvania is confirmed to be a popular pick from the Series 5 crowd support phase that ended up breaking a record.

Here are some of the highlights we’ve spotted in the 376 projects, but this is by no means exhaustive – a 300-image gallery just wouldn’t fit in this report.

As you might expect, there is a wealth of LEGO Castle and castle-adjacent models proposed for the five slots in Sires 7, following nearly half of Series 4 quickly selling out. Specifically, 103 of the 376 projects proposed for Series 7 are in the Medieval / Castle category. That’s over a quarter of the builds, but this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

You’ve got until February 1 at noon Pacific Time to cast your votes and with 376 submissions to go through, you might want to get started sooner rather than later.
