A possible concrete shipping date for LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets is rumoured – and it's coming up fast.
Thanks to a source 'close to BrickLink', as reported by Polish fan site FanKlockow, it appears that BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets will ship from July 1. This fits with the rough outline of six months on from crowdfunding and with the early estimate window that the LEGO Group was working from before crowdfunding opened.
Series 1 concluded with three of the five sets selling out and all five funded, meaning tens of thousands of people around the world will be anticipating their orders getting delivered. While this delivery date isn't yet officially confirmed, with June already nearly halfway gone, those who successfully ordered Series 1 sets during crowdfunding will likely hear about the delivery and shipping of their sets in the coming weeks.
If you weren't successful in Series 1 or didn't see something that caught your eye, you might also want to cast your eye over the Series 2 finalists, available to pre-order now. While two are already sold out, three are still available. Plus, there are four days left to have your say on which sets go into production for Series 5, including various space-themed and modular hopefuls.
