LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals 2024 sets rumoured

As is to be expected, two LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals sets are rumoured for 2024 with prices matching the most recent expensive sets.

Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has shared on their Instagram story a rumour of LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals sets reportedly coming next year. The annual models appear to be a mainstay of the portfolio and sign of more builds in the range isn’t unexpected.

However, the rumour discloses that 80112 is rumoured to be $89.99 and 80113 is believed to be $129.99. Compared to 2023’s 80110 Lunar New Year Display and 80111 Lunar New Year Parade, this matches the prices of both sets, suggesting that we can expect a duo on a similar scale.

As for what the rumoured models could depict, details are not included in the report though 2024 will be the year of the dragon so some draconic influence is likely. This could be like we had with the tiger mascot in 80109 Lunar New Year Ice Festival and the giant rabbit in 80111 Lunar New Year Parade.

Usually, LEGO sets designed for or inspired by Asian culture, including the Chinese Traditional Festival sets, are revealed at the Chinese International Import Expo and this year’s event is taking place from November 5 to November 10. Reported details on 80112 and 80113 in this article are only rumours at this time and should be taken with caution until officially confirmed.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
