LEGO City 2019 official product images revealed

Official images showing the LEGO Group’s 2019 continue to be released, with fans now able to see what will be coming from LEGO City next year.

At least 15 new LEGO City sets will be released in January, some of which are already available to buy in Canada. Official images of 14 of those sets have been released by the Brick Fan, allowing fans to see what will be available in a month or so.

The following sets for LEGO City 2019 are revealed in the official images:

60206 Sky Police Jet Patrol
60207 Sky Police Drone Chase
60212 Barbecue Burn Out
60213 Dock Side Fire
60214 Burger Bar Fire Rescue
60215 Fire Station
60218 Desert Rally Race
60219 Construction Loader
60220 Garbage Truck
60221 Diving Yacht
60222 Snow Groomer
60223 Harvester Transport
60239 Police Patrol Car
60240 Kayak Adventure

There is a slight weighting towards Fire in the mix, but there is quite a variety of subject matter presented. In recent years. the Fire subtheme has tended to include something burning in the set rather than just the vehicle, allowing children to role-play putting out the fire. This continues in these sets, with 60212 Barbecue Burn Out and 60214 Burger Bar Fire Rescue offering something to collectors beyond the fire vehicle. The Sky Police subtheme takes law enforcement in an aerial direction, incorporating drones.

Some of the sets include gimmicky aspects, that may concern long terms fans, with 60215 Fire Station including a new light and sound element. 60212 Barbecue Burn Out includes a water squirter.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Creator and LEGO Classic set images for 2019 have also been revealed over the past week.
