LEGO City January 2025 wave rumoured to feature Formula 1 and more

The first rumours for the LEGO City January 2025 sets suggest a massive and varied wave featuring Formula 1, emergency services, and off-roading.

As many as 20 LEGO City sets are rumoured for January 2025, according to the latest reports from Kramer (aka /toy/user) and corroborated by reliable Instagram user a.clay.brick. That includes the first indication that LEGO City will be included in the LEGO Formula 1 partnership, just like with space this year.

There are five cars without set names that are reportedly related to Formula 1, as well as some other racing-themed sets that aren't specifically noted as being related to Formula 1. That includes 60448 Red Sports Car, 60458 Pizza vs. Fire Truck Race Car Pack, 60459 Airplane vs. Hospital Bed Race Car Pack, and 60460 No Limits: Race Car Ramp Track. The latter three suggest a different approach to racing, featuring cars perhaps made parts from other City spaces like hospitals and pizza places.

Plus, it seems that the space presence in LEGO City won't end at the end of 2024, with 60446 Modular Galactic Spaceship already rumoured for January. There's also a wealth of emergency services-themed sets and plenty more besides, although no prices or piece counts are indicated just yet.
