LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 21 vignettes – Violin Kid

Our next buildable environment for LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21 constructs a grand stage for the Violin Kid.

We’re assembling a dozen vignettes for the dozen characters included in the latest series of Collectible Minifigures. Veteran fans will know that number represents a 25% drop from previous series – a change apparently not motivated by the theme’s sales.

The next model in the series tackles the blind-bagged collection’s newest musician. You can see all the vignettes so far by clicking here, or keep scrolling for today’s addition to the line-up.

Red and gold are natural colour choices for a grand music hall, which is the setting we’ve aimed to evoke in this 8×8-stud build. The arched bricks above the Violin Kid frame him in the centre of the model, drawing your eye to him, but look closer and you’ll spot plenty of details – from the wooden floor beneath him to the masonry wall behind him, which contrast the otherwise ornate surroundings and décor.

Check back each weekday for a new vignette inspired by Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21. To see more of Justin’s LEGO builds, check out his Flickr page, where his handle is justin_m_winn.
