LEGO confirms that Pokémon GWP will return on launch day
The LEGO Group’s terms and conditions confirm that 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection will return when the Pokémon LEGO sets launch.
40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection was made available with pre-orders of 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise in a rare move from the LEGO Group, but quickly sold out in many regions. Thankfully, the LEGO Group’s terms and conditions confirm that it will return on February 27, when the sets launch officially.
“The gift with purchase will be available again from 27 February 2026 for a limited time only, while stocks last,” reads the statement.
Judging from how quickly 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection sold out with pre-orders, we wouldn’t expect it to last very long on February 27 either. The LEGO Group hasn’t confirmed how much stock is reserved for next month’s launch, but it’s definitely worth getting your orders for 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise in early on February 27 if the GWP is a must-have for you.
40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection is already fetching high prices on the secondhand market just a few days after the reveal, so picking it up as a freebie on LEGO.com is definitely the best way to get your hands on the 312-piece set.
Both 72151 Eevee and 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball are available to pre-order now worldwide, while 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise is available for pre-order in selected regions without the GWP.
