LEGO Create the World trading cards are back at Sainsbury’s

Today’s the day that LEGO fans can start collecting the new Create the World: Living Amazingly trading cards when shopping at Sainsbury’s.

Fans who enjoyed tracking down trading cards at UK supermarket Sainsbury’s in previous years can do so again, with Create the World: Living Amazingly launching today.

There’s an album to buy for £2.50, then packs of cards are given out with every £10 spent. Packs of four cards are also available to buy for 50p.

There will be 140 cards to collect in total. This time around the theme will be foods from around the world, with minifigure characters Lily and Sam going on a journey to find out where different ingredients come from. Educational material teaches children more about the food they eat, in an engaging way.

Previous LEGO trading card promotions have been successful for Sainsbury’s with 400 million cards given out and one million albums sold in 2018.

“Each year LEGO Cards and Collectors Album have proven incredibly popular amongst children and adults alike – really capturing kids’ imaginations,” said Mark Given, Chief Marketing Officer for Sainsbury’s.

The promotion will run until October 27.
