LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31129 Majestic Tiger joins the Brick Fanatics Top 20

There’s a new king of the LEGO jungle – at least where brick-built animals are concerned – as 31129 Majestic Tiger has joined Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List.

The tiger may not be the king of the actual jungle (although some scientists suggest it should be), but it trumps 31112 Wild Lion in the LEGO build stakes, simply because 31129 Majestic Tiger is so much bigger, more detailed and so full of character. It’s all those qualities and more that have seen it parachute straight into 12th position on our list of the best LEGO sets currently available.

That it’s taken so long – the Creator 3-in-1 set originally launched on January 1 – is only due to how popular the 755-piece set has already proven to be, given it’s been out of stock since pretty much day one. It’s now back and available to order in the UK and Europe, however, which means it can also finally take its rightful place in our daily list.

Check out our review of 31129 Majestic Tiger for a closer look at everything this impressive set has to offer, then head over to LEGO.com to snag yours while it’s still available.

Something has had to give in the Top 20 LEGO Sets List, of course, and that means the longstanding 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech has just slipped out of view. The incredible Monkie Kid set is still well worth a look-in if you haven’t picked it up already, though – especially as it’s reportedly due to retire by the end of 2022.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
