LEGO DC 76157 Wonder Woman vs Cheetah revealed

A new LEGO DC set inspired by Wonder Woman 84 has been revealed –76157 Wonder Woman vs Cheetah.

Originally due for release on June 3, Wonder Woman 84 has had its release pushed back until August due to the impact of coronavirus. LEGO DC 76157 Wonder Woman vs Cheetah will be the tie-in set for the film, featuring a high-tech bunker and a tower with a rotating transmitter along with Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince, Cheetah aka Dr. Barbara Minerva and Max. Brick Heroes points fans towards Amazon, where the set has been revealed.

What is most surprising about this set is that the box effort goes to no effort to reveal what the toy itself is, instead focusing on the Wonder Woman 84 logo and the two main minifigures included in the set. It is another example of the LEGO Group experimenting with packaging design.

There is no release date for the set, but typically one-off movie sets are released a couple of months before the film itself. Whether the release date change affects this particular product’s shelf date is not yet clear.

Wonder Woman 84 will be released on August 14, 2020.
