LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle is back in stock – at least for now
LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle has returned to LEGO.com in the UK following another extended hiatus, but history suggests it won’t stick around for long.
The 4,080-piece set has dropped in and out of stock multiple times over the past couple of months, as the LEGO Group seemingly struggles to meet demand for one of its longest-surviving products. 71040 The Disney Castle has been on shelves since 2016, and according to Brick Fanatics’ sources will stick around well into 2022.
Whether it’s in production or not is moot if you can’t actually buy it, though, so if the enormous ode to the House of Mouse is high up your wish list, best to take any opportunity you can to place an order. At the time of writing, 71040 The Disney Castle is in stock and ready to ship across the UK, US and Europe, for £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99 respectively.
That means it’s also straight back in at second place in Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List, which tracks the very best products currently available at LEGO.com. If it has disappeared again by the time you read this, don’t fret: just sign up to our stock alerts and we’ll let you know when it’s back.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
