LEGO DOTS designer showcases unique designs

A LEGO designer for the DOTS theme has published high-quality versions of the printed designs used throughout the theme, showcasing the creativity within the miniature artwork.

LEGO designer and illustrator Diego Sancho has taken to Instagram to continue a series of posts revealing the designs on some of the smaller bricks in the theme’s crafty sets, meaning builders can see all the details in them without having to stare at a single stud.

The latest post in the collection focuses on a brand new set – 41932 Extra DOTS – Series 5. The small DOTS pack has only recently released and, as the name suggests, it’s the latest in a collection of builds that include a variety of colourful tiles with some unique designs in each series.

This in-depth look at the artwork shows how much detail and thought must have been put into each before they were applied to the tiles. You can find 41932 Extra DOTS – Series 5 in the new summer range of LEGO DOTS, which include accessories and larger models from a multi-pack of builds to a pack of over 1,000 bricks.

Diego’s and his fellow designers’ printed tiles might come in handy when decorating your own LEGO DOTS flag, as the LEGO Group have recently suggested with a new activity on the official online store.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
