There’s a LEGO exhibit in 10326 Natural History Museum

LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum’s interior is packed with details, but it turns out there’s a LEGO exhibit in the modular museum too.

It’s not unlike the LEGO Modular Building Collection to reference the brick-built world it exists in and just as the previous largest entry in the range – 10255 Assembly Square – included a miniature LEGO display, 10326 Natural History Museum continues that tradition.

The marketing video for 10326 Natural History Museum, shared on social media earlier today, offers a better look inside the building from the perspective of a mischievous dog. The highlight of this walkthrough is an exhibit on the second floor, the position of which can be identified thanks to official images which showcased the helmet, but not what was beneath them.

The helmet, cap and hat correspond to a classic LEGO theme with a set on display beneath them, recreated in microscale. The sets appear to be 375 Castle, 6054 Forestmens’ Hideout – which was recently re-released as 40567 Firest Hideout, and one of the many pirate ship models from over the year.

Panning to another part of the second floor, where a space exhibit is featured, the camera focuses on another LEGO model display within the museum, this time for Classic Space. A miniature moonbase is featured with a depiction of 497 Galaxy Explorer, recently rereleased as 10497 Galaxy Explorer, using just two pieces.

The rest of the video is worth a watch too, featuring many more views of the museum’s interior, some of which you’re almost certainly never going to be able to recreate when it releases on December 1.

The final short of the video features the dog atop a pile of loot, all of which has been taken from the many other entries in the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection, including the cheque from 10251 Brick Bank and a green brick separator.

10326 Natural History Museum launches on December 1 for £259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99 and is available to pre-order now

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
