LEGO Formula 1 launch event showcases upcoming racing sets
The LEGO Group held its own companion Formula 1 launch event last night, with those in attendance able to check out a number of upcoming sets.
15,000 lucky Formula 1 fans who made it to London’s O2 last night were in for real treat, with a special event marking 75 years of the motorsport. In attendance were drivers for all 10 teams and livery reveals for the vehicles being used in the 2025 season.
Not to be outdone, the LEGO Group also held its own Formula 1 event held next door at TOCA Social. As reported by BricksFanz, a number of LEGO F1 sets were on display, allowing guests to check out existing and upcoming models from this year’s racing collection.

Those who made it to the location had the opportunity to build a LEGO race car and find out how fast it was, watch the F1 launch event live and check out impressive brick-built winners’ medals and a large-scale LEGO driver minifigure with trophy.
Instagram user twogayafols was also at the event, posting that there was an opportunity for guests to grab one of the upcoming LEGO F1 make and take Racing Car Steering Wheel builds, have their picture taken in a cool photo booth, grab some food and more.

Racing online and into stores next month will be 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell, 42206 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 Car, 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars and 10 Speed Champions sets, with 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars to follow on May 1.
More LEGO F1 sets are rumoured to be arriving throughout 2025, with a host of themed content and experiences due to appear at interactive fan zones during Grand Prix weekends.
