LEGO FORMA UK delivery imminent, US delivery delayed

Fans who ordered the LEGO FORMA launch products in the UK are about to get their deliveries, while US fans will have to wait a while longer.

The latest updated has been sent out by the LEGO FORMA team, revealing that European manufacturing of the fish skins benefits UK consumers but is causing delays for fans in the US.

UK fans should expect their LEGO FORMA sets to arrive around January 16.

US fans will have to wait a little longer, as “there were unexpected shipping delays during the high season due to the skins being produced in Europe. The skins are currently making their way to the US, and our Distribution Center in the US expect to receive them by the end of the month.” Deliveries are expected to arrive with customers around February 6.

Fans could order the sets via Indiegogo last year in order guarantee one of the new sets when they launch. It was not a traditional case of crowdfunding, instead the LEGO Group has funded the project and is simply using the Indiegogo platform to reach a broader audience beyond already engaged LEGO fans.
