LEGO Fortnite Brite Bomber BrickHeadz gift-with-purchase revealed

The LEGO Group has revealed a future LEGO Fortnite gift-with-purchase that will presumably be available alongside the new sets in October.

LEGO Fortnite’s first four physical sets finally drop next month, and the LEGO Group should have a day-one incentive for gamers ready to splash the cash. 40728 Brite Bomber has just appeared on LEGO.com, marked as a gift-with-purchase unavailable to buy separately (though valued at £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99). The BrickHeadz model follows the tried and tested format for buildable LEGO statuettes with 151 pieces in the box.

It’s the 254th LEGO BrickHeadz character to date, so those collectors hoping to complete the entire theme (if there are any such collectors out there, given how difficult that is) will want to make a beeline for 40728 Brite Bomber as soon as it’s available. The LEGO Group hasn’t confirmed specific availability, but an October 1 release just makes too much sense to not be the case.

That’s when 77070 Durrr Burger, 77071 Supply Llama, 77072 Peely Bone and 77073 Battle Bus will all drop into LEGO Stores and start shipping from LEGO.com, offering a range of ‘display play’ sets that tap into some of the game’s biggest icons. Whether you’ll need to reach a general spending threshold or buy specific products to qualify for 40728 Brite Bomber remains to be seen.

It’s not the only gift-with-purchase likely to be available from October 1, either: the LEGO Group has also just revealed 40697 Halloween Pumpkin, a 254-piece freebie that’s about to drop just in time for spooky season. LEGO Fortnite collectors will hopefully be able to scoop up both of these free gifts in a single purchase, but that will depend on whether the pumpkin carries any of its own theme restrictions.

Keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for confirmation on the availability of these gifts-with-purchase as soon as we get it, and in the meantime head here to browse through the entire list of new LEGO sets arriving in October.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
