LEGO Fortnite’s drivable vehicle parts revealed

LEGO Fortnite’s vehicle update coming soon appears to be more in-depth than previously expected as a new image is setting high expectations.

The LEGO Fortnite social media accounts have been teasing new content coming to the survival and sandbox model on March 26 but the latest teaser seems to have laid out exactly what we can expect.

We know that turning wheels and steering apparatus are coming to LEGO Fortnite next week but now it’s been confirmed that these are just two parts of a much bigger update. The new teaser image features two sizes of LEGO wheels, chassis parts, bumpers and more as well as confirming what can be attached to vehicles.

The array of parts on display in the image suggests that there will be no shortage of new content for players next week, provided that the date in the teaser hints at a March 26 release date. The different sizes of tyres are going to be especially useful and there is a second, handlebar-based, steering seat too.

The most notable feature spotted in the new image is the ability to place chests on vehicles. Chests can be interacted with to store items and there appears to be a glimpse at a crafting station on the larger vehicle in the back. This is as well as three passenger seats.

Based on this, you can theoretically transport your entire base around your LEGO Fortnite world. It will be interesting to see whether or not you can place a village square on vehicles too, though that might be asking too much.

Either way, we likely don’t have to wait to see what the community will create in LEGO Fortnite with these new parts. Whatever is being teased, we can expect more news and possibly a release on March 26.

It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes.
