LEGO Friends’ first 4D movie is available to watch now

LEGO Friends is being treated to the theme’s first-ever 4D movie at LEGOLAND resorts and Discovery Centres, focusing on an alien invasion.

Following the reboot of the theme last year, LEGO Friends’ first 4D movie is now available to watch at select LEGOLAND resorts around the world. This follows similar movies for NINJAGO, The LEGO Movie, LEGO City and much more.

A trailer for the new movie has been shared by the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham and LEGOLAND Windsor has since confirmed that the movie is showing now at the theme park. The 4D movie is titled LEGO Friends: Alien Invasion, featuring the main cast from the animated series facing filming issues while shooting a new movie about an alien invasion.

While this movie might not be about real aliens in LEGO Friends, such creatures have recently debuted in the theme as part of 42605 Mars Space Base and Rocket but the design of the aliens in the new movie is inspired by those of 2011’s Alien Conquest.

As with all LEGOLAND 4D movies, you’ll need to go to a resort or LEGOLAND Discovery Centre to watch it and it’s likely going to be available at all locations eventually.

Several LEGO Friends sets are rumoured for this summer by Instagram user brick_clicker, via 1414falconfan, including a water park, a camp subtheme and even the first LEGO Friends castle. We recently received what may be our first look at one of these rumoured sets, but the reported information has yet to be confirmed.
