LEGO Icons Golden Retriever Puppy set rumoured for 2026

LEGO Icons is rumoured to be barking up the right tree in 2026 with 11384 Golden Retriever Puppy, a set that will presumably build on the success of 21349 Tuxedo Cat.

Doing for dog lovers what 2024’s Ideas set did for cat people, 11384 Golden Retriever Puppy will apparently debut on February 1 for $139.99 in the US. That’s according to itavix_bricks, who claims that the LEGO Icons set will include 2,098 pieces in the box – or only 388 more than 21349 Tuxedo Cat. That suggests it could be roughly the same scale as its feline friend.

We don’t have much more to go on at this stage, but it wouldn’t be especially surprising to see the LEGO Icons range broaden its scope to bigger and more life-like buildable animals. Aside from 21330 Home Alone, 21349 Tuxedo Cat is the only LEGO Ideas set released in 2024 (or earlier) that will still be on shelves in 2027 at the time of writing, suggesting it’s selling well.

This also wouldn’t be the first time the LEGO Group’s in-house teams have taken inspiration or cues from LEGO Ideas. 10292 The Friends Apartments followed 21319 Central Perk; LEGO Art sets such as 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave and 31215 Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers arguably built on 21333 Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night; and 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone paved the way for an entire theme for the Blue Blur.

We’ll hopefully learn more about 11384 Golden Retriever Puppy (if it exists at all) in the weeks to come. For now, take all rumoured LEGO sets with a customary pinch of salt.
