LEGO Group celebrates women engineers with virtual event
The LEGO Group is celebrating International Women in Engineering Day with a free online event.
In the next #SayHej event, the LEGO Group is inviting five female LEGO engineers to a panel led by Ronen Hadar, Senior Director of Additive Design and Manufacturing at the company. They will be discussing their personal career stories, achievements, and shining a light on upcoming initiatives and projects from the team.
The LEGO Engineering and Quality team are responsible for a range of different activities, including Mould design and materials and processing. In the event description, they’re described as “the beating heart of Operations here [at] the LEGO Group”.
The members of the team sharing their stories are Mould Designer Antoinette Eshun, Senior Materials Platform Manager Pernille Lyager Laursen, Mechanical Engineer Manager Kati Teige Gonzales Friborg, Senior Manager Henriette Marie Juhl, and Development Engineer Helle Nygaard Schacht.
The event will take place online at 8.30am BST / 9.30am CEST on June 23rd 2021 and is free to attend. You can reserve your place in advance from the event’s description page, as well as find out more about to expect.
