LEGO Harry Potter 40598 Gringotts Vault GWP revealed

A LEGO Harry Potter gift-with-purchase designed to expand 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition has been officially revealed.

The Australian online store has added 40598 Gringotts Vault and labelled it as a gift-with-purchase (GWP). The set has 212 pieces with a minifigure of a goblin similar to those included in 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition.

Consisting of an extra vault with its number having cracked beyond recognition, you can use it as a piggy bank to store any extra change you have lying around, as well as the life-size LEGO Harry Potter coin in 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition

The model is designed to expand on the massive LEGO Harry Potter set at its base where the exposed Technic pins are located. However, more Technic pins are included in 40598 Gringotts Vault, suggesting that there may be more expansions to come, or at least that there’s extra room should you acquire multiple of the gift.

40598 Gringotts Vault is valued at $34.99 AUD and will likely be available alongside 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition on September 4, or September 1 for LEGO Insiders. That’s the same time as the start of the Back to Hogwarts event, which is confirmed to include free gifts. 30651 Quidditch Practice is also marked as a gift-with-purchase ahead of the big day.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
