Sony has confirmed LEGO Horizon Adventures’ release date, alongside revealing the game’s deluxe edition contents and a pre-order bonus.
The unprecedented team-up between the LEGO Group and Guerrilla Games will debut on PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch on November 14, 2024, and is available to pre-order from October 3. A new trailer for the game debuted during last night’s State of Play showcase, confirming the release date and revealing that LEGO Aloy will be able to don a bunch of different outfits – several of which are included in the digital deluxe edition.
Pre-ordering LEGO Horizon Adventures will unlock Aloy’s Shield-Weaver outfit in-game, while the deluxe edition includes three Horizon-specific costumes and three inspired by iconic PlayStation characters Sackboy, Ratchet and Rivet – bringing them to a Nintendo platform for the first time, even if indirectly. The Horizon outfits are Shadow Stalwart, Banuk Armour and (amusingly) Alloy Aloy.
The digital deluxe edition of the game also includes additional roller coaster customisation options for Mother’s Heart, the hub area that players can decorate and upgrade with things like a dance floor, ferris wheel and theme park rides. LEGO Horizon Adventures loosely follows the plot of the franchise’s first title, Horizon Zero Dawn, with a ‘playful and light-hearted’ take on the post-apocalyptic story.
You’ll be able to pre-order LEGO Horizon Adventures on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PC through participating retailers and digital storefronts from October 3, 2024. Head here for 10 key takeaways from early gameplay reactions.
