LEGO House embraces space and opens more tours soon

The LEGO Group’s love of space in 2024 is even stretching to LEGO House in a new exhibition as the attraction prepares for more tours.

From April 23 to June 17, LEGO House is running a space exhibition named Explore Space Your Way in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark. The exhibition will be on display in LEGO Square, at the base of the attraction.

Considering the many space-centric sets continuing with 71046 Series 26 Space next month, a space exhibition at LEGO House only makes sense in 2024.

“Our new Exploring Space exhibition is the perfect mix of imagination, creativity, and science,” says Kathrine Kirk Muff, managing director at LEGO House. “It’s got a wow factor and will ignite your dreams and imagination – precisely what we strive for here at LEGO House.

“Exploration and learning through play are deeply rooted in our DNA, and we can’t wait to witness children and their families enrich their understanding of space while playing. We’ve got 25 million LEGO bricks to play with – all you need to bring are your wildest and most imaginative ideas.”

One aspect of the space exhibition you can look forward to starting today are various UPOs on display. These Unidentified Playing Objects are models that children from several countries were invited to design, some of which have been transformed by LEGO House’s master builder Dídac Pérez Soriano into larger LEGO builds.

The experience zones within LEGO House correspond to space too including space displays across the Tree of Creativity and the opportunity to create a space stop motion at the Story Lab.

Many tours are held at LEGO House too including the LEGO House tours and bookings for these in Autumn 2024 will open on April 26. Those planning on visiting the attraction in Billund soon may want to check out the shop for the latest exclusive set.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
