Rumoured LEGO Icons 10337 Lamborghini Countach could join a limited club

The rumoured LEGO Icons 10337 Lamborghini Countach could be joining a limited club of brick-built cars spanning a specific pair of themes.

Reports of a new brick-built version of the Lamborghini Countach suggest that LEGO Speed Champions 76908 Lamborghini Countach is going to be followed up by 10337 Lamborghini Countach on July 1 with 1,2506 pieces for $179.99. While it has yet to be confirmed, there’s more precedent than you might expect for cars shared between LEGO Speed Champions and LEGO Icons.

Whether the bigger LEGO Icons build came first or was preceded by the LEGO Speed Champions model, the Aston Martin DB5, Ferrari F40 and Porsche 911 have all received a LEGO Icons (rebranded from LEGO Creator Expert) and LEGO Speed Champions set.

It’s a small club of LEGO cars but one that may be increasing in members later this year should the rumours of 10337 Lamborghini Countach be accurate. As a preview of what we might be able to expect, a scaled custom LEGO Lamborghini Countach has been devised as an alternate build of a model in this limited club.

The rumour of 10337 Lamborghini Countach has yet to be confirmed officially at the time of writing and should be taken with caution. Should it launch this summer though, there are at least seven models it should display nicely with, and one small set that would pair particularly well.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
