LEGO Icons Black Friday discounts
The LEGO Icons theme encompasses some of the very best sets the LEGO Group has to offer, from regular subthemes such as the Modular Buildings Collection and Winter Village Collection to one-off licensed sets like 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr and 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter. Plenty of those are likely to see generous discounts across the Black Friday period.
Many LEGO Icons sets are not sold outside of official LEGO channels, however, including 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and 10307 Eiffel Tower. Discounts on those sets are generally few and far between throughout the year, and your best bet for maximising the value of your purchase is to aim for double Insiders points and gifts-with-purchase. You should find both of those available during Black Friday, so even if you’re paying full price for a set, you can sweeten the deal with extras alongside your purchase.
What’s more, LEGO Icons is home to the LEGO Group’s official Black Friday release in 2024: 10335 The Endurance. It comes with its own exclusive GWP, 40279 Shackleton’s Lifeboat, and will retail for £229.99 / $269.99 / €269.99 for the 3,011-piece set.
LEGO modular buildings Black Friday deals
A total of three different LEGO modular buildings are currently available at LEGO.com and through select third-party retailers, including 10297 Boutique Hotel, 10312 Jazz Club and 10326 Natural History Museum. None of those are retiring in 2024, but they’re nonetheless open to potentially lucrative offers across the Black Friday period.
Discounts generally reach around 20% on modular buildings throughout the year, and Black Friday could be the moment we start to see even better deals on these models – including the first discounts on 10326 Natural History Museum.
LEGO Rivendell Black Friday deals
10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell brought Tolkien’s world back to LEGO Store shelves with a bang in 2023, recreating the elven kingdom in more than 6,000 pieces – and with the entire Fellowship of the Ring (and then some) included to populate its incredible architecture. This set is only available at LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and through Amazon, so deals have been pretty rare so far.
We’re expecting some juicy incentives to step back into Middle-earth across Black Friday, though – not least the opportunity to rack up double LEGO Insiders points and earn multiple exclusive gifts-with-purchase when shopping through official channels. Amazon has so far discounted Rivendell by around 15% at most, so the opportunity is there for something bigger for Black Friday.
LEGO Botanical Collection Black Friday deals
The LEGO Botanical Collection is still blooming in 2024, with a record number of new additions joining the growing number of plants this year – including two new festive builds in 10340 Wreath and 10370 Poinsettia. Black Friday could be a chance for early deals on those October releases, while 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom could also see tempting deals during the Black Friday period.
LEGO Winter Village Black Friday deals
Three LEGO Winter Village sets will be available by Black Friday, including whatever the LEGO Group has up its sleeve for 2024. Early deals on this year’s set are probably not on the cards, beyond qualifying for double LEGO Insiders points and gifts-with-purchase, but you can expect to see discounts on 10325 Alpine Lodge and 10308 Holiday Main Street – the latter of which is due to retire this year, making this your last chance to add it to your own Winter Village layout.
LEGO Icons Back to the Future Time Machine Black Friday deals
One of the most popular LEGO Icons sets currently available is 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine. Inspired by the beloved sci-fi movie trilogy, the set offers a large-scale LEGO model of the series’ DeLorean sports car. The model can be customised to alter its appearance, and it also comes with minifigures of Marty McFly and Dr Emmet Brown – who appear here in their Back to the Future II outfits.
The set sold out on multiple occasions at LEGO.com following its release, and has since sped over to a handful of other retailers as well. It’s received some pretty generous discounts over the years, so Black Friday 2024 could see it slashed in price even further – saving you from going back in time for the best price…
Retiring LEGO Icons Black Friday deals
A total of nine LEGO Icons sets are retiring in 2024, including 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, 10303 Loop Coaster, 10306 Atari 2600, 10320 Eldorado Fortress and 10321 Corvette. Any of those retiring LEGO Icons sets available through third-party retailers are ripe for a Black Friday discount, while we might even see tempting deals on the rest through LEGO.com.
