LEGO Ideas 21318 Tree House sells out again

LEGO Ideas 21318 Tree House’s brief flirtation with availability has come to a swift end, as it’s already dropped back out of stock at the official online store.

Yesterday’s relaunch back into the realm of ‘available now’ was a welcome surprise for those of us holding out for the 2019 set, which had been marked as ‘temporarily out of stock’ at LEGO.com since early January.

And yet, perhaps inevitably, 21318 Tree House has once again slinked off into LEGO purgatory, unavailable to buy through the official online store. Your only hope now is Amazon, or – as we’re becoming increasingly familiar with these days – playing the waiting game.

You won’t have to play the ‘constantly hitting refresh’ game, though, because we’ll do that for you. Just sign up to our stock alerts, and we’ll get on the case, furiously and consistently checking to see if and when 21318 Tree House returns to the land of the living. (Our poor F5 key is looking a little worse for wear at the moment.)

The 3,036-piece Ideas set’s departure from LEGO.com also means it drops back out of our Top 20 LEGO Sets List, which is reserved only for those sets you can actually buy right now. Fortunately, 71040 The Disney Castle is here to take its place, coming straight in at pole position.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
