LEGO Ideas Activity gets in the Chinese New Year spirit

Ahead of Chinese New Year, the latest LEGO Ideas Activity asks fans to build something to celebrate the festivities.

The latest LEGO Ideas Activity is asking fans to celebrate Chinese New Year by building something relevant to the festival. With the Year of the Rat on the way, the builds may be used by the LEGO Group on social media when the celebration arrives.

Here is the official explanation of what the Activity is, which can be found on the same page where submissions should be uploaded:

Are you or someone you know celebrating Chinese New Year? Well, we would love to kick-start the celebration here on LEGO Ideas, so let’s see some beautiful brick-built lanterns, dragons dancing, cute rats or anything that captures the festive spirit, while we get ready for the Year of the Rat!

This is part of a series on LEGO Ideas that gives little tasks for builders to get involved with – there are no prizes, they are just a way to get involved with building something quick for fun. Each challenge is intended to be something quick and fun, unlike the more in-depth building required for a competition or product idea.

The deadline for this Activity is December 13 at 10.00am CEST.

The last LEGO Activity asked fans to get into the New Year’s Eve spirit.
