LEGO Ideas announces Dr. Eggman’s takeover challenge competition

A new LEGO Ideas competition has been launched, with Dr. Eggman himself taking over the proceedings for a unique builder challenge.

There’s still one month to go until the full range of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets launches, with five upcoming builds arriving on August 1, 2023. In anticipation of the models speeding online and into stores, a new LEGO Ideas competition has been set by an unlikely character – the villainous Dr. Eggman himself.

The latest challenge throws down the gauntlet to builders, asking them to submit their entries for a unique customisation competition. In order to take Sonic down, the foul fiend wants to #MakeLEGOSonicMoreEggman. The idea is for creative fans to submit their own version of a Sonic the Hedgehog model, but change the character to more closely resemble the moustache-twirling bad guy.
