The time to believe is over, as another pair of LEGO Ideas sets has been revealed in the form of the promised The X-Files set and a tie-in gift-with-purchase.
LEGO Ideas 21369 The X-Files has been unveiled, based on the fan design from Brent Waller. Brent won the 90s Throwback challenge held last year, and his 2,020-piece project has been transformed into the 1,478-piece 21369 The X-Files.

LEGO Ideas 21369 The X-Files has 1,478 pieces and will be released on August 1 for LEGO Insiders or August 4 more widely for £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99. It features a detailed recreation of Fox Mulder’s office littered with Easter eggs.
Above the office is a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO suspended with transparent pieces. Eight minifigures are also featured, including Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien.
Some of the many Easter eggs in 21369 The X-Files include a 'The Truth is Out There' tile, an 'I Want to Believe' poster, an X-Files dossier, and pencils in the ceiling of Mulder’s office.
“I was obsessed with The X-Files from the moment I first saw it in the ’90s," Brent commented. "I originally built Mulder’s office back in 2014 while rewatching the series, and it grew from there as a personal project.
"I wanted to combine nostalgia, detail and storytelling to capture the atmosphere of the show - from Mulder’s office to the forest and UFO encounter. I’m thrilled to see it become an official LEGO set and hope it resonates with both long-time fans and new audiences.”
