With the LEGO Group launching the Rebuild the World campaign in Billund today, focusing it around a new promotional video, the important people are getting involved. The LEGO Brand Group Executive Chairman Jørgen Vig Knudstorp and the LEGO Group CEO Niels B. Christiansen sit down for a light-hearted discussion that introduces the new campaign.
In the video, the pair of high-powered executives enjoy playing with the oversized LEGO element props from the video. They are here to introduce the Rebuild the World campaign though. “It is kind of like a very optimistic message,” says Jørgen Vig Knudstorp.
“One of the ways that I would actually like to improve the world is making sure that we preserve the world and take care of the planet,” says Niels B. Christiansen.
They have a special message for AFOLs, which Jørgen shares: “I think what we want to tell them here perhaps, I know is very dear to your heart as well, is probably that they to us are a pinnacle experience. We so much appreciate how they showcase endless opportunity and they use the bricks in ways we have never seen before,”
