LEGO Marvel Captain America: Brave New World sets rumoured for December
LEGO Marvel’s rumoured Captain America: Brave New World sets are reported to finally be released this December after delays.
The two LEGO Marvel Captain America: Brave New World sets that have been rumoured for some time have received a promising update from reliable Instagram user a.clay.brick. Just as the source film has been delayed multiple times, finally landing a release date of February 14, 2025, the sets are rumoured to have followed suit, now scheduled for release in December.
December 1, 2024, is specifically rumoured to be the release date for both 76292 Captain America vs Red Hulk Battle and 76296 Captain America Buildable Figure. The third rumoured set for the movie – 40668 [Captain America BrickHeadz two-pack] – has not received an update at the time of writing.
You can find out more about both builds by clicking here but as a quick reminder, 76292 Captain America vs Red Hulk Battle is likely to be the most appealing of the rumoured duo. It’s said to feature minifigures of Sam Wilson, Joaquin Torres (the new Falcon), Red Hulk as a bigfig and Ruth Bat-Seraph (whose comic identity has been retconned in the film). The set is still rumoured to feature 223 pieces for $54.99, which isn’t the most generous price-to-part ratio.
Take this rumour with caution but given that the film is finally scheduled to be released next February, a three-month difference between the movie and the sets may be the best the LEGO Group can aim for without pushing the rumoured sets into 2025.
