New LEGO Marvel Character Encyclopedia revealed

A brand new LEGO Marvel character encyclopedia, complete with an exclusive minifigure, has been officially announced for later this year.

Penguin Random House has revealed a new LEGO Marvel Character Encyclopedia, confirming that an exclusive superhero or villain minifigure is coming soon. It’s priced at $21.99 and due for release on October 1, 2024.

Note that the cover’s design may change before release and will likely be amended to reveal the exclusive minifigure featured inside.

The silhouette appears to depict Iron Man or War Machine, matching the last exclusive Iron Man minifigure to be included in a LEGO Marvel book. You can read more about the visual dictionary by clicking here.

Based on previous books and exclusive LEGO minifigures, it will likely be at least a few months until we find out what the exclusive minifigure in the LEGO Marvel Character Encyclopedia is and it shouldn’t be assumed to be Iron Man as the silhouette could be a placeholder.

A variety of new LEGO Marvel sets complete with new minifigures have recently launched, including the likes of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avengers and the X-Men. The first wave of LEGO Marvel models for 2024 are available now.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
