LEGO Marvel rumoured to be adding Mr. Negative minifigure in 2025
The first-ever minifigure of Spider-Man super villain Mr. Negative is rumoured to be joining the LEGO Marvel theme this summer.
A recent rumour suggests yet another LEGO Marvel Spider-Man set will be swinging into fans’ collections this summer, in the shape of 76321 Spider-Man 2 Train Battle. Potentially based on the classic scene from Sam Raimi’s 2004 superhero sequel, the report states that the model may arrive in August.
In addition, a new LEGO Marvel super villain minifigure is also said to be debuting sometime this year, if the latest rumour ends up being accurate. Usually reliable Instagram user itavix_bricks is reporting that Mr. Negative will be added to the theme in summer 2025, although no details regarding exactly which set the character might be appearing in have been revealed.
If that proves to be true, it would be the first-ever physical minifigure of the striking black and white villain, following him showing up in 2013’s LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. A human mutate, Mr. Negative is a Chinese gangster whose real name has never been revealed. His powers include superhuman strength and reflexes, a healing touch and mind control abilities.
While the rumours regarding a Mr. Negative minifigure should be treated with caution for now, the character’s potential arrival does at least give Spidey one more two-tone bad guy to battle, following the inclusion of The Spot in 76311 Spider-Verse: Miles Morales vs The Spot.
