LEGO Master Model Builder position opens in New Jersey

LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey is opening soon in East Rutherford, New Jersey – and the attraction is looking for a Master Model Builder.

East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA is soon to be home to the new LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey, and there’s a position open for the Master Model Builder. It’s a chance for talented LEGO fans to apply and perhaps find themselves building for a living.

The job advert asks:

Are you the biggest LEGO fan in the area? Can you build absolutely anything out of LEGO bricks? Do you enjoy sharing your skills with others? We want to hear from you! Apply here to become our new LEGO Master Model Builder and kick-start a rewarding career with one of the world’s largest entertainment companies!

To apply for the role, fans will need to submit a portfolio of their LEGO models, with candidates who impressive to be selected for the Brick Factor audition process.

There’s more than just building involved, as the role is about interacting with children and encouraging their creativity. Master Model Builders take care of the builds at LEGOLAND Discovery Center attractions, but also run workshops, engage children and put together one-off seasonal models.

The new LEGOLAND Discovery Center will open in spring 2021.
