LEGO MASTERS Jr. US spin-off series announced
LEGO MASTERS Jr. will be hitting screens next month as the new spin-off event series is unveiled with Kelly Osbourne to host.
FOX have announced the debut of LEGO MASTERS Jr. on August 18, featuring four episodes of familiar LEGO building game show fun, but with a child-centric twist. The spin-off was confirmed two years ago in a casting call, but is finally coming to screens and streaming next month.
Instead of pairs of older LEGO fans, teams of two children and one celebrity will be going head to head across four episodes of LEGO challenges to see who comes out on top. Similar to the main series, the judges are designers Amy Corbett and Boone Langston, taking the role from Jamie Berard for the spin-off. Kelly Osbourne will be hosting the series instead of Will Arnett (or Nick Cannon from next season.

The celebrities teaming up with the child contestants include Ravi V. Patel, Andy Richter, Jordin Sparks, Alison Sweeney and Porsha Williams.
“I grew up with LEGO, and I’m a big fan of the show,” shared Ravi V. Patel to Variety. “But I had like one big box of LEGO. This show made me realise that I needed way more.
“I did this for my kids. I cannot wait to watch with them. I’m hoping it impresses them. But, know my 9-year-old would never want to be on the show. She does not like attention, and I have no idea where she gets that from.”
LEGO MASTERS Jr. will start airing from August 18 on FOX, streaming the next day on Hulu. In other recent LEGO MASTERS US news, Nick Cannon will replace Will Arnett as host of the show next season, much to some fans’ dismay. LEGO Insiders also still have time to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to experience the new LEGO MASTERS experience at the LEGO House in Billund.
