LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary and minifigure coming soon

The first-ever LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary has been revealed, featuring the usual exclusive minifigure and coming to shelves later this year.

LEGO Minecraft is Joining the likes of NINJAGO, Star Wars, Marvel, DC and Harry Potter later this year with the theme's first visual dictionary published by DK Books. Amazon UK has revealed the title, which will include a new and exclusive minifigure.

For the other themes, these usually cover rare characters or rare versions of popular characters so it will be interesting to see what form such a minifigure takes for Minecraft. Alex and Steve are the most obvious picks, but they've been covered thoroughly in the theme's lengthy life.

The final cover depicting the exclusive minifigure is not yet ready in any case and there's no doubt now that the preliminary minifigure outline does not correspond to the contents of visual dictionaries, since it uses a round head rather than Minecraft's signature cube-shaped element.

The retailer offers a preview inside the visual dictionary, detailing various sets and statistics from over the many years of LEGO Minecraft. The description states that the book will cover all 13 years of LEGO Minecraft, indicating that the Micro World models will be included, too. Hopefully, this will include 21102 Minecraft Micro World—The Forest to be as comprehensive as possible.

The LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary releases on October 2 for £19.99 / €27.99 and pre-orders are open now on Amazon.
