LEGO Monkie Kid 2023 sets fully revealed

Following listings earlier today, five of the six upcoming LEGO Monkie Kid sets have been officially revealed with full details and images.

The LEGO Group's original action-packed Monkie Kid theme continues in 2023, as confirmed with the reveal of 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech alongside the Chinese Traditional Festivals sets for 2023. However, now four more have been added to LEGO.com with full details of their pricing and release dates.

Here's a look at the five main LEGO Monkie Kid models coming in 2023, the first four of which are new for this article.

80040 Monkie Kid’s Combi Mech

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 277 Release date: January 1, 2023

Monkie Kid has another mech in the form of 80040 Monkie Kid's Combi Mech, a chunky build that can combine with the next creation on this list and it features two minifigures.

80041 Mei's Dragon Jet

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 246 Release date: January 1, 2023

Mei will pilot a new jet in 2023 with 80041 Mei's Dragon Jet, a model that is designed to combine with 80040 Monkie Kid's Combi Mech for one extra-powerful vehicle. It has one more minifigure than its mech counterpart though.

80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant

Price: £59.99 / $79.99 / €69.99 Pieces: 844 Release date: January 1, 2023

Acting as the main build for one of the three main villains for LEGO Monkie Kid in 2023, 80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant is a life-like build with five included minifigures depicting an elephant with plenty of moving parts.

80044 Monkie Kid's Team Hideout

Price: £89.99 / $139.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,582 Release date: January 1, 2023

At just £89.99 in the UK, 80044 Monkie Kid's Team Hideout acts as an expansion to 80036 The City of Lanterns according to its description, but with a much more rural setting.

80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech

Price: £119.99 / $139.99 / €139.99 Pieces: 1,705 Release date: January 1, 2023

80045 Monkie King Ultra mech is the biggest of the 2023 LEGO Monkie Kid sets but it's nothing new as it was revealed earlier this year and is otherwise a remake of 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech.
