LEGO Monkie Kid is an award-winning theme with an award-winning team
LEGO Monkie Kid has officially won an award for its animated series and recently a member of its team won an award too.
After being nominated for an award in 2021, LEGO Monkie Kid has managed to win big through its animated series and the team behind it.
The award for Best Direction in Animation at the 2022 Australian Directors’ Guild Awards was awarded to Sarah Harper for the third season of Monkie Kid, with the Flying Bark social media team praising the accomplishment
However, that’s not the only award LEGO Monkie Kid has earned recently as the results of the 2022 Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards revealed that the series has also won the Best Sound for an Animation category for the Destiny Fulfilled third season finale episode.
Creator of LEGO Monkie Kid, Simon Lucas was quick to respond to this news on Twitter, recognising the achievements of the team.
It’s refreshing to see LEGO Monkie Kid win not one but two awards thanks to its team after missing out in 2021 and with another wave of models on the way, we’ll hopefully see the animated series return in 2023 too. Here’s a look at the upcoming LEGO Monkie Kid sets for 2023:
