LEGO Monkie Kid got bigger with new 2023 sets

As we reported in 2022, LEGO Monkie Kid’s 2023 selection of sets has surpassed its previous waves in terms of piece count.

LEGO Monkie Kid is officially bigger than ever – at least in terms of set size. The newly revealed summer 2023 range of sets for the original theme includes one of the largest sets yet by piece count.

The theme’s ever-expanding models have us wondering what the range will be like in a year or two, provided it’s still around then. In the meantime, let’s look at the biggest LEGO Monkie Kid builds to see where the theme has gone so far.

8 – 80044 Monkie Kid’s Team Hideout

Price: £89.99 / $139.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,582 Year: 2023

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
