LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 sets are almost completely compatible

The LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 sets are just days away and it has been discovered that the biggest build connects almost all of the others.

Four LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 sets release on June 1, or August 1 in the US, and early reviews of the theme’s latest sets and minifigures have landed online. LEGO YouTuber DuckBricks’ review specifically has revealed an interesting pair of features that connect three of the four upcoming sets.

80058 Celestial Pagoda is designed to be displayed alongside the small shrine side build in 80056 Nine-Headed Beast as both the tree and the well at the sides of the massive tower can be disconnected, revealing a pair of Technic pin connections to attach the temple too.

Similarly, the likes of 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary, 80044 Monkie Kid’s Team Hideout, 80034 Nezha’s Fire Ring and many more feature these same connection points and it’s good to see this trend continue in a variety of models big and small.

80055 Monkie Kid’s Team Power Truck isn’t left out either as one room in the huge 80058 Celestial Pagoda includes a familiar-looking throne with golden claw elements and an odd exposed ball joint.

It turns out that this is intended to expand on the creature depicted in 80055 Monkie Kid’s Team Power Truck, adding an extra segment to the small model. It also suggests that this throne is meant to seat the 100-Eyed Demon, and their eyes are scattered across the massive tower too.

This just leaves 80057 Nezha’s Ring of Fire Mech, which doesn’t appear to feature anything that can specifically connect to the towering 80058 Celestial Pagoda, though it’s at least still connected by the wider theme.

The exact context behind the upcoming sets has yet to be revealed as the next season of Monkie Kid doesn’t have a release date at the time of writing, though it is confirmed to be on the way with a new team taking the helm.

The four LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 sets release on June 1 in the UK and Europe or August 1 in the US exclusively at LEGO stores and on the official online store.
