LEGO NINJAGO’s modular city sets rumoured to continue into 2025

Make some more shelf space, the collection of LEGO NINJAGO’s modular city models is rumoured to continue into 2025 with at least one more set.

According to Instagram user exabrickslegogo_, the LEGO group’s range of NINJAGO City modular sets is planned to continue for some time, alternating between straight and corner entries.

The NINJAGO City range started with a model inspired by the movie – 70620 NINJAGO City in 2017, then expanded with a second movie-based build in the form of 70657 NINJAGO City Docks in 2019.

For the 10th anniversary of the theme in 2021, 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens was launched as the most entry into the range. This is the only set of the trio to include an extra short straight section.

So far, the collection includes two corner sections of one baseplate each and two straight sections totalling two baseplates in length.

Scheduled to retire in 2024, though dates are subject to change, 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens may not be the last entry in NINJAGO City as the source reports that NINJAGO City Apartments could be coming in 2025 or 2026.

At the time of writing, this report is just a rumour, and it should be taken with a heavy pinch of salt in case it’s inaccurate or otherwise false. Rumours for the next year’s LEGO sets aren’t uncommon but reports as far ahead as 2025 are rare and all manner of factors could change any in-development models over the next couple of years.
