LEGO NINJAGO Guardian Dragon can’t be played with – but that’s okay

LEGO NINJAGO 71847 The Guardian Dragon is no toy, but that’s more than okay when you dig into what you get in the display-centric build.

LEGO NINJAGO is evolving, and that is no clearer than in 71847 The Guardian Dragon. While long-term fans of the theme might associate it most with minifigure playsets, 71847 The Guardian Dragon is not for playing. Instead, it’s a fairly rigid display set, making it one of a few NINJAGO models that are breaking relatively new ground for the theme.

However, that doesn’t make it any less of an enjoyable set – far from it. The 1,650-piece build makes for an eye-catching display, even if the dragon’s limbs aren’t as posable as other brick-built dragons available right now.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
