LEGO NINJAGO’s Titan Mech collection is missing a few models

LEGO NINJAGO continues a collection of huge, detailed mechs in 2023, covering half of the team with a unique mech, but leaving three unarmed.

With the release of 71785 Jay’s Titan Mech on January 1, 2023, half of the NINJAGO team will have a mech specifically designed for them as the theme continues what appears to be an ongoing range.

The collection also includes 70676 Lloyd’s Titan Mech from the Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu wave in 2019 and 71738 Zane’s Titan Mech Battle from Legacy in 2021, which was in turn of recreation of half of 70737 Titan Mech Battle from 2015.

Back in 2015, it seems unlikely that the LEGO NINJAGO design team knew that the Titan Mechs would become a collection with one for each ninja, but that’s exactly what’s starting to happen.

So far, Jay, Zane and Lloyd have received a massive mech leaving Kay, Cole and Nya without one. That’s only including the core team of ninjas with elemental powers, excluding Wu, Pixal and other characters accordingly.

At the time of writing, no other Titan Mechs have been confirmed and based on the release schedule of these three models, it may be a couple of years before we see the next, though we can only hope to one day have a full collection of detailed LEGO NINJAGO mechs similar to the line-up from The LEGO NINJAGO Movie.

In the meantime, you can look forward to the release of 71785 Jay’s Titan Mech and the rest of the NINJAGO 2023 sets listed below on January 1, 2023.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

I don’t know if that counts but the nyas samurai x mech from Ninjago Crystalized seems like that’s the nyas “titan” mech. I don’t know if i am wrong but i just feel like it beacuse it is really big and we haven’t seen that big Ninjago mechs in a situation where they are not a titan mechs. (Expect the ninjago movie mechs)
