First-ever LEGO Spider-Man 3 set could be on the cards for 2026

Two more LEGO Spider-Man sets are rumoured to be on the way in 2026, and there’s a decent chance one of them could be hooked to Sam Raimi’s Spidey trilogy.

Fresh rumours from lego_minecraft_goat suggest that LEGO Marvel’s January 2026 wave will include 76342 Daily Bugle and 76334 Spider-Man vs. Sandman, with the latter coming in at 201 pieces for €24.99. Even just six months ago, the obvious assumption for that set would have been an original model based on comic book versions of its included characters, like the various Spider-Man cars we’ve seen in recent years.

But with one eye on the August 2025 LEGO Marvel range, there’s now a non-zero chance that we could be looking at our first official LEGO Spider-Man 3 set. The original LEGO Spider-Man theme back in the ‘00s covered the first two Sam Raimi movies, but the LEGO Group had dropped the line by the time the polarising third instalment arrived in cinemas in 2007.

Nostalgia is a powerful force, though – enough to support the release of a brand new LEGO Spider-Man 2 set more than two decades after the original run in this year’s 76321 Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene. That set is based on one of the most memorable moments from the 2004 film, and takes the chance to give us movie-accurate versions of Spider-Man, Doc Ock, Aunt May and J. Jonah Jameson (even while the latter two aren’t really relevant to the specific scene).

It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that 76334 Spider-Man vs. Sandman could do the same thing for Spider-Man 3, bringing us movie-accurate versions of the wall-crawler and its villains Venom, Green Goblin and Sandman. That’s a lot to pack into a €25 set, but we’ve seen previous releases at that price point include three minifigures, and if Sandman is brick-built… well, let’s just say we can keep dreaming for a little while yet.

All the way up until the LEGO Group officially reveals the first wave of Marvel 2026 sets, in fact – for now, take any and all details of future products with a grain of salt. Click here for a complete rundown of 2026 LEGO sets.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
