Rumoured LEGO Star Wars January 2026 prices point to a new type of set

An initial list of prices for the rumoured LEGO Star Wars January 2026 sets suggests we’re on course for a new type of set from a galaxy far, far away.

A total of 10 new LEGO Star Wars sets (plus one polybag) are said to be on the way at the beginning of next year, which would make for the theme’s biggest January wave since 2020. While we previously had rumoured prices for two of those, and age ranges for another two, get.cooped has now shared a full list of age ranges and prices for all 10 retail sets and what’s presumably a polybag based on its product number (30727).

We’re still said to be getting two 18+ sets, which at this stage could pull from any of the collections currently in rotation – helmets, dioramas, midi-scale ships – or perhaps something else entirely, while the rest will apparently be targeted at younger builds. That suggests a greater range of playsets is on the way than in the first half of 2025.

What’s most interesting here is the inclusion of a set priced at $9.99 in the US. LEGO Star Wars’ cheapest sets at the moment are Microfighters and mechs, both of which cost more than $9.99 apiece, so it’s anyone’s guess what a product at that price point could entail. We have seen sets for $10 in other themes, though – like Marvel’s 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters – so a small build with a couple of minifigures isn’t out of the question.

It’s also nice to see a few other sets come in at $20 and below, occupying price slots not often filled by LEGO Star Wars, even if those are likely to consist of Microfighters, mechs and battle packs. The other question lingering over this wave is whether any of these will be hooked to next May’s The Mandalorian and Grogu, or whether Dave Filoni’s movie will receive its own separate wave of sets closer to release.

Either way, it’s shaping up to be a bumper year for LEGO Star Wars fans. Other themes are already receiving rumoured set names, including Speed Champions, so we might not have to wait too much longer for an idea of what to expect from a galaxy far, far away in 2026.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

A good evolution to get more playscale sets, and at reasonable prices points.
